Career Change

"I went with the main aim of getting support for job hunting, which I have been doing for several years, without any luck. I had tried many different things over the years however I just wasn’t getting anywhere, not even to interview stage.

With the support of Nicola, I was given the space to talk and work through what I wanted and she gave me tasks to work on, which were occasionally scary but worth pushing myself.

The outcome was within a few weeks I had an interview, which I was supported with the preparation with. I felt confident carrying out my presentation and in my interview and this resulted in my getting the job. I have been in the job a few weeks and am loving it. Nicola’s support made me think differently and enabled me to feel confident in my applications, my presentation and my interview.

I have to stop myself from thinking I feel lucky; however, it wasn’t luck it was hard work and support from the people around me including Nicola, that got the job that ticks all my boxes."
